XBOT Robot Warranty Policy – TOBOR Technologies (Updated 2025)
TOBOR Technologies is committed to delivering high-quality technological products and transparent after-sales services to ensure maximum value for our customers. This warranty policy applies to the entire XBOT inspection robot product line.
1. Scope of Application
- This warranty policy applies exclusively to the XBOT robot.
- Tablets, controllers, accessories, or third-party devices included with the system are not covered under TOBOR Technologies’ warranty and will follow the warranty policies of their respective manufacturers.
2. Warranty Conditions
2.1. Manufacturer-related defects
A defect is defined as an issue arising from:
- Components or materials that do not meet quality standards
- Errors during assembly
- System software faults caused by TOBOR under normal usage conditions
2.2. Conditions for a product to qualify for warranty
- Warranty seal must remain intact, not torn or replaced
- No signs of unauthorized technical intervention
- No severe damage caused by improper physical impact or unsuitable environmental conditions
- Product must be operated according to the user manual and within proper technical specifications
2.3. Data liability disclaimer
TOBOR Technologies is not responsible for:
- Loss of user data, images, operation logs, or software
- User configurations or system settings altered during repair
3. Standard Warranty – 12 Months
The 12-month standard warranty is included with every XBOT robot purchase.
3.1. Standard warranty benefits
- Repair or replacement of components due to manufacturer defects
- Technical support throughout the usage period
3.2. Cases not covered by the standard warranty
- Damage from drops, impacts, water exposure, or physical factors
- Damage caused by misuse, incorrect software installation, or improper maintenance
- Damage caused by third-party repairs or device opening
- Wear-and-tear components such as wheels, rubber gaskets, joints, outer shell
- Battery (covered under a separate policy)
- Environmental impacts beyond limits: high temperature, heavy dust, corrosive chemicals, strong vibration
- Unstable power supply or improper charging
4. Peace of Mind Warranty – Extended Warranty (Optional Purchase)
Premium warranty program for customers who want enhanced device protection.
4.1. Peace of Mind Warranty (POM) packages
- POM 12 months
- POM 24 months
- POM 36 months
Note: POM is a separate extended warranty and does not extend the duration of the standard warranty.
5. Enhanced Benefits of Peace of Mind Warranty
Allows repair or replacement even when the damage is caused by user error
(TOBOR will evaluate the damage level and determine the appropriate support method for each case.)
5.1. Specific benefits
- Support for user-induced damage (minor drops, moderate impacts, small cracks, software issues caused by incorrect operation, etc.)
- One-time replacement of a new or equivalent robot if the device is irrecoverably damaged
- Faster processing priority compared to the standard warranty
- Significantly reduced repair costs for out-of-warranty issues
5.2. Exclusions – Not Covered by POM
- Severe destruction of the device (fire, explosion, major deformation, total breakage)
- Deep water immersion or exposure to saltwater
- Unsafe hardware modifications or repairs
- Intentional damage or warranty fraud
6. Warranty Request Procedure
Contact TOBOR Technologies via email: tobortechx@gmail.com
Provide:
- Purchase invoice
- Product serial number
- Description of damage with photos/videos
Then:
- Send the product to the warranty center as instructed
- Technicians will inspect and assess the device
- Customer will receive a report and proposed solution (repair/replacement)
7. Warranty Processing Time
- Initial inspection: 3–7 business days

Repair or replacement: 7–21 business days
Processing time may vary depending on part availability and damage severity.
8. Costs and Additional Charges
8.1. Costs Not Covered Under Both Standard and POM Warranty
- Shipping costs for sending the device to and from the warranty service center

Taxes, customs fees (if any), and other expenses related to shipping
→ The customer is responsible for paying all shipping costs and taxes. - Reinstallation costs for user-customized software
- Technical services that fall outside the warranty scope
8.2. Out-of-warranty repairs
All costs will be quoted in advance and carried out only upon customer approval.
9. Final Terms
- This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- TOBOR Technologies reserves the right to modify the warranty policy and will announce updates when available.
- TOBOR Technologies has the final authority to determine whether a product qualifies for warranty based on technical evaluation procedures.
